Kombucha Jello Recipe

I just came across this recipe for Kombucha Jello today and just had to share it.  The more I learn about Kombucha, the more I see there are tons of uses and ways to consume it.  I haven’t had a chance to try this recipe (courtesy of swisspaleo) but will definitely share soon!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of kombucha (500 ml)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 teaspoons of gelatin
  • Optional: chopped, diced, or pureed fruit of choice (mmm, yes!)
  • Optional: a teaspoon or two of honey (stevia will work too)

Directions

  1. Pour the water into a sauce pan and stir in the gelatin
  2. Heat and stir continuously until the gelatin is dissolved
  3. Add honey if you want and remove from heat
  4. Let it cool just a bit and then stir in the kombucha
  5. Pour into individual serving dishes (one large bowl will also work)
  6. If you are adding in fruit, just put it in the serving dish before pouring the kombucha gelatin mixture over it
  7. Cool in the fridge until set
